From cultivated fields to your homes, our tomato is the good Italian one since 1965.

We have always known tomatoes. They are part of the history of our family. Therefore, we take care of every detail of the process with almost obsessive attention. From collection to transformation. The tomatoes we use to make our lines are self-produced. They come from Caserta, the areas around Benevento and Apulia. We follow the growth and ripening of the vegetables, the collection and selection of those that will then be processed in our factories, for in each of our cans, bottles or jar there is a bit of history of Torrente’s family.

The first tomato-based processing technique to make tomato puree, apparently tested in Campania, dates to the early 1700s. A few decades later, another important step was taken by preserving the product into closed and boiled glass jars. The whole production process follows high quality standards in our factories; however, we have never forgotten the importance of craftsmanship, which is the basis and the DNA of our work and which makes our products unique and peerless.

You can cook for love. You can just cook to feed yourself. In either case, an skilfully prepared tomato sauce is able to convey emotions or to stimulate the neurons of the gustatory nucleus giving a pleasant sensation, to put it science. Therefore, we have expanded our product line, from Fortore’s datterini to gourmet puree, to ready sauces with basil and Tropea onion.
